A circular and open view offering the spectacular contrast of the Atlas snowy summits and the Jiblets bald and dry mountains, the ancient guards of an immense nourishing oasis; that is the authentic and remarkable environment which needed a very special creation.

The park of more than 2 acres, encircled with high pisé walls overgrown with jasmines, bougainvilleas and other brightly coloured and sweet-smelling lianas, encourages  relaxation with its many stretches of water, its majestic palm trees, its slender coconut palms, its hundred-years-old olive trees as well as orange, lemon, mandarin and pomegranate trees.

Harmony is such, that the swimming pool and Roman arches of the pool-house with its massage room and  hammam,  seem to have always existed in this haven of peace.

The architecture of Dar Maghza is a skilful mixture of Moroccan tradition and modernism, in its achievement as well as in the choice of quality materials. The smooth or doted tadelakt alternates with walls lacquered with mother-of-pearl powder and traditional cedar woodwork. This palette of warm shades is perfectly underlined by floors of polished cement or small bejmat terra-cottas from Meknes.

The precious craftsmanship of the lamps, the sheen ceilings, the hand-weaved draperies or embroidered household linen add to the elegance of the work.
